Jan Lovett Sings More Opera!
I’m delighted to release my new operatic recordings!
Yes! My brand new YouTube channel was set up just a few days ago! It’s called Jan Lovett Sings More Opera.
I recorded six new classical pieces at Oastview Studio in Marden, Kent, with the wonderful Conductor and Composer, Stephen Higgins on piano. What a privilege!
I didn’t know Stephen; but he is an accompanist, arranger, presenter and Conductor for English National Opera, Glyndebourne, the Royal Opera House and Scottish Opera…oh my goodness!
Stephen and I got on very well and chatted about the pieces before we began recording. We did a few takes of each piece and James, my producer, was happy with the results.
Well, you can hear them now for yourself. I’m really proud and excited. I do hope you enjoy them.

You’ll hear one of the pieces I recorded is “The Water is Wide”, arranged by Mark Hayes.
Now that my recording has gone live, I contacted Mark. He has listened to it and has sent me a message, saying:
